Adult Substance Abuse Education
This is an 8 hour education class that covers the differences between use, abuse, and addiction. The effects of abuse and addiction on the family. It also covers relapse prevention and the identifation of defense mechanisms that keep a person sick. The class give an orientation to the 12 steps as well. This information is relevant to real life issues, up-to-date, and presented in a non-threatening style.
