Life presents each of us with our own unique experiences, and with that, our own set of issues, needs, and goals. It's important to know that we are all fallible human beings, who are not bound by our past. As such, we should not allow our past to control our future. I believe that we are capable of learning how our past experiences influence our current thoughts and behaviors, thus allowing for space to create new patterns in the process.
With a background in the performing arts, I often incorporate expressive arts techniques to help my clients work through life challenges, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and begin to heal from traumatic experiences. I am Brainspotting and EMDR trained.
We all need someone in our lives who is empathetic, authentic, and willing to provide us the space to grow and flourish in our mental health journey. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your path toward this endeavor. Additionally, I am a part of the LGBTQIA community and am passionate about social justice issues.
