Life adjustments can really throw us off balance. They can cause us to ruminate, increase our already present feelings of anxiety or sadness, and make us shame-spiral as well. I believe that therapy exists to guide us through such trying times. Therapy is there to help us find self-acceptance, be our true selves, and push us out of our comfort zones in such a way that we become stronger and more resilient individuals. As a mental health therapist specializing in men's issues, I take an integrative approach to therapy with an emphasis on a client-centered methodology to meet the unique needs of each individual.
With training in gestalt therapy and experiential family therapy, I focus on working with trauma survivors, issues of masculine identity and manhood, anxiety disorders, relationship-based challenges, and members of the LGBTQA+ community.
I utilize unconditional positive regard, not only do I provide a judgment-free space, but I strongly believe in my clients’ ability to overcome challenges. I want my clients to move away from any feeling of shame and move towards a more objective perspective on self-improvement while finding self-acceptance.
