I'm Connor, a licensed mental health counselor and athletics mental health liaison at Seattle University. I work with athletes, from pros and Olympic hopefuls to burgeoning high school players to weekend warriors, on their general mental health and sports performance issues. If you find yourself struggling with performance anxiety, lack of confidence, burnout, depression, anxiety, difficulty with stress management, big life adjustments, or even grief or trauma, I'm here to provide a warm, listening ear with a strong desire to help.
In order to address psychological distress, we must build self-awareness around the origins and triggers for that stress. I use ACT, CBT, and growth mindset to increase resilience, coming to terms with the challenges of life and performance and learning from difficult situations instead of avoiding them, as well as teaching coping skills.
I'm looking forward to getting your email or call! I respond M-F from 5-8 (and occasionally Sundays), so if you email me during the day, look out for an evening reply. I'll typically schedule a free 15 minute consult with you before we determine if we're a good fit for each other.
