My background lies primarily in working with individuals navigating complex trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, and grief - often alongside deeper struggles with self-worth, chronic self-criticism, and vulnerability. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns that leave them isolated, frustrated, or disconnected from themselves and others. It is a privilege to support clients in their exploration of boundary-setting, working through loneliness, and exploring anger and sadness as meaningful and manageable emotional experiences.
My approach is grounded in Existentialist thought and informed by Gestalt and Solution-Focused Therapy techniques. I believe therapy works best when it delicately balances insight and action; we can honor and explore the deeper “why” while also staying attuned to what’s possible and meaningful in the present. Each client as an expert of their own experience.
At the heart of my work is a belief in self-efficacy; while we cannot avoid or predict all of life’s challenges, we can grow more confident in our ability to face them with authenticity and resilience. My goal is for you to leave therapy with a stronger sense of who you are, what you need, and how to move through life in a way that feels grounded.
