As a faith based mental health therapist I have specialized in working with teens who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, body image issues. I also work a great deal with relationships of all types including families, couples, coworkers, board members, etc. My approach is to build trust and open communication with my clients and then teach them to do the same in their relationships. Clients learn to first look in the mirror before they seek to externalize their issues. The changes I seek to facilitate are life long heart changes and not simply behavioral ones.
I have a very proactive approach in working with couples who have issues of infidelity, insecurity, trust, intimacy, and communication. Women who struggle with change of life issues such as depression, empty nest, and career are a special population who need my compassionate yet proactive approach.
Ingram & Associates houses 13 clinicians who have superlative experience in the general areas of psychotherapy but more importantly in specialized areas including: CBT, DBT, EFT, EMDR, TF-CBT, motivational interviewing, substance abuse, addiction, sexual abuse, solution-focused, and biofeedback.
