Connections Counseling Psychotherapy, LCSW, PLLC offers individual and couples' therapy in midtown NYC between 6th and 7th, and in the mid-Hudson area in New Paltz. Our staff each has a unique approach to therapy, and all are caring and experienced. Ruth Campbell, LCSW, Ph.D., Richard Coleman, LMSW, and Afua Forson MD, MFT Assoc. are experienced in and passionate about couples' work. Lynne Rachlin, LCSW and Tina Iler, LCSW are adept at finding ways to ease anxiety and depression. Tina Iler specializes in Motivational Interviewing practice; she gives trainings for therapists. The NYC office (Afua and Ruth) specialize in couples' work. Richard, Lynne and Tina, (the New Paltz office)with diverse backgrounds, may use techniques such as psychodynamic work, CBT, MI. or EFT to facilitate healing and growth. These therapists emphasize listening carefully - simply listening often allows someone to gain insight into potential solutions.
