At times life become daunting, leaving you feeling uncertain, depressed, confused or anxious. Other times you experienced a life altering event or have some relational difficulties that seem overwhelming. When your goal is to find positive solutions that help you see a brighter future and the best of you who you are, our office offers you a safe place based on trust and understanding, without judgment. You will feel secure to share your difficulties, but also to wonder on the possibilities for your life. In our office we welcome you, we embrace and celebrate each person, and validate the contributions you bring to our world.
My “theoretical home” is psychodynamic with emphasis on family systems and relational, developmental and attachment theories. As an Infant Mental Health Specialist I incorporate therapeutic play, Dyadic, CPP, with Trauma Focus and CBT approaches. I also incorporate Person-Centered principles, adoption issues, couple’s issues into portfolio of interventions.
There is much truth to the phrase, “It takes a village”; we know that from infancy as we begin perfecting our skills to connect. No matter what our role, relationships can be hard; when struggles seem up-the-hill we may need help to reconnect with others, with ourselves, or with life itself. Let us help you find tools that can help you succeed. Contact us!

Circle of Security International Parenting Program
This is an eight session (75 minutes each) parenting program, which is based on Attachment Theories, where parents can increase their capacity to reflect upon children’s attachment needs in order to promote secure attachment with a child. At the same time this program helps parents an opportunity to share common stories and learn in an non-threatening environment how to promote a safe and stable relationship while helping parents strengthen the relationship with their children and the parent's ability to be-with the child. The group is scheduled with participation of no less than 3 parental units.
