I am the owner & psychotherapist for Adolescent, Adult & Family Behavioral Health. I specialize in issues of trauma, loss, depression & anxiety for adolescents, adults & their families. I have expertise in working with teenagers within all levels of psychiatric care over the past 32 years. Dr. Galat is a licensed psychologist in Connecticut. She received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hartford, Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology (GIPP). Dr. Galat completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Middlesex Hospital where she provided a continuum of psychological services and case management to children, adolescents, and adults (ages 8-65 years) with emotional and behavioral difficulties in foster care, outpatient, and school settings which included diagnostic assessment, evidenced based treatment and intervention.

As a psychotherapist, marital and family therapist practicing for over 25 years, my goal is to work with individuals, couples or families, no matter how challenging the issues.
