After many years of working with clients of diverse backgrounds, I work with my clients to clarify treatment goals, increase self awareness, develop confidence, motivation, and commitment to live a healthy, quality life,as they have defined it.
My client-centered approach to treatment is eclectic, informed by training in psychodynamic theory, African-centered Psychology, Motivational Theories, Marriage & Family Therapy, and Conscious Calibration techniques. I collaborate with clients to facilitate problem solving and self-empowerment.
