About
I help people transform troubling habits of thought and behavior into the conditions for their mental, physical, and spiritual health. Therapy with me isn't about fixing brokenness or eliminating badness. It's about working gently and fearlessly with confusion in order to find one’s inherent good sense. It may seem far-fetched, but your worst experiences contain seeds of clarity and contentment. In a safe, respectful, empowering environment, those seeds will take root and grow in directions to benefit you and those around you.
Trauma-trained and mindfulness-based, I work with adults navigating PTSD, anxiety, depression, and mood swings. I offer safety and respect to those of all races, genders, sexual orientations, relationship styles, and humane beliefs. I am LGBT, kink, and sex-worker friendly. I'm committed to the lifelong practice/study needed to be a truer ally to all beings.
I bring compassion, confidence, daily mindfulness practice, ongoing trauma training, and daily study to my work with people who‘ve been hurt by others, people who‘ve hurt others, and people who help others. Appointments are 45-60 minutes and limited to four a day, leaving space in between for client privacy, clinician refocusing, and proper documentation.
