Training in Emotionally Focused Therapy has helped me tremendously in working with couples and individuals. I enjoy couples counseling, helping partners to see their trauma in the marriage. Teaching couples their negative cycle and how to work through their pain. I believe that trauma is the root of our issues and why we use our dysfunction in dealing with life. Depression, anxiety, addiction can all be linked back to childhood traumas or other life traumas. I also work with individuals as well as teenagers.

I am expert in cognitive behavioral therapy and have been a field instructor and guest lecturer for the graduate MSW program at U.C. Berkeley.
