Now accepting new clients virtually throughout CA. I specialize in therapy focused on self acceptance for queer LGTQIA+ folks, folks in larger bodies, and folks with neurodivergence. This includes building a kind inner parent voice (also called self compassion), learning to externalize shame, healing disordered eating and body disconnection, and healing codependency in order to get better connected to yourself. I work from a fat liberation and social justice lens, and I love using humor and directness in sessions.
I assist clients with centering themselves in their values and softening their inner critic so they can live more aligned with their core selves. Using self-compassion, ACT, and somatic practices, I help clients reconnect with themselves and re-parent themselves. I help clients learn to replace shaming cognitive patterns with messages of self compassion.
Many of my clients are able to feel less stuck in their daily lives and find more joy and pleasure. Many clients are able to better understand themself, and therefore communicate with partners with more ease. With more self accpetance, clients are able to make more aligned choices. It's time to let go of shame and building a cherishing inner parent!
