Having worked in the school setting the last 10 years, I know that times are really tough for our kids. As parents, we may not know how to handle the things our kids go through, or even understand. I want to help by providing a safe and nurturing environment for children and youth to process their emotions and teach them healthy coping skills to get them through life’s difficult times.

As a former member of the National Gymnastics Team from my home country Venezuela, I experience first hand the importance of balancing mental, emotional and physical health to achieve personal goals. Those years as an elite athlete taught me that emotions and mindset played a decisive role in anybody's performance, no matter if it is in sports or any struggling situation life puts us through. Those are strength that we all have but sometimes we haven't developed them yet. I offer you a supportive, warm, non-judgmental environment to overcome the barriers that keep you from achieving your goals and becoming who you want to be.

I have worked in the field of psychology throughout my entire career. Beginning in graduate school, I was able to gain experience working in a private psychiatric hospital and later worked on various research projects focusing on marriage, self-management, television impact on children, and others. Upon graduating, I took a position of Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology at SMU then later transitioned to private practice. I have had my practice of psychology for more than 30 years.

Life can be stressful, overwhelming and even confusing. Outside of work, Brittney loves spending time with her family. She has 2 children and spends most of her time with them. She also loves shopping and trying new foods. When she can she likes to travel and see new places. She loves animals and has 3 dogs.

Christine Freeburg, LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) graduated from Baylor University with a BS degree in Psychology and The University of Texas at Arlington with a MS in Social Work. Christine is passionate about working with children and adolescents to positively impact their lives. She is focused on facilitating change for the better through therapy and support. Christine is a strong believer in family support and education to improve the lives of children. Her main focus is cognitive behavioral therapy and play therapy to assist with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, self-esteem and social skills.
