I truly believe in the effectiveness of counseling when the client and counselor can work together to identify concerns and generate effective and realistic solutions. My approach to counseling stems from the belief that you are the expert on your own life and I will work with you to find insight and create meaningful solutions that will impact the quality of your life. My goal is not to judge, but is instead to create a safe space where we can explore areas of difficulty together. Client’s I’ve worked with appreciate my ability recognize the uniqueness of each person’s story and provide an individualized approach.
I enjoy working with a variety of demographics including teens, families, adults, and couples. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, parenting, behavioral issues, LGBTQ issues, and marriage/family. However, I take a special interest in working with clients who struggle with eating disorders, body image, or unhealthy eating patterns.
