I work with adults and couples. I specialize in EMDR therapy, trauma recovery and mood disorders. I have significant experience working with grief and loss. I work with a variety of modalities that include CBT and mindfulness, as well as somatic and psychodynamic principles. Solution Focused counseling and Motivational Interviewing can also be helpful to client seeking more short term, immediate solutions. I am a person-centered therapist with a strength in acknowledging, supporting and respecting the unique view points and perspectives of each individual client.
In addition to traditional office based therapy & counseling, I am pleased to bring my passion & expertise as a certified eco-therapist back home to the beautiful, open spaces of SW Colorado. As an adjunct or alternative to office based therapy, eco-therapy works with clients within the therapeutic frame of nature based, outdoor settings.
