Christi Moreno is a Licensed Professional Counselor at Comfort and Joy Therapy. She received her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from a CACREP program and enjoys working with children (7+), adolescents, and adults of all ages. She enters every counseling relationship with a person-centered approach and uses a variety of counseling techniques and theories as appropriate for specific client situations. Techniques and theories could include elements from Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Adlerian Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, DBT, Art Therapy, and many others.
Christi has several years of experience working with anxiety, depression, sexual/emotional/physical abuse and trauma, neglect, grief and loss, suicide ideation, relationship concerns, family relationship concerns, low self-esteem, OCD, ADHD, career concerns, and anger issues.
Christi is excited to help you on your journey to hope and healing. She is accepting new clients via Telehealth and in-person for the following services: Individual Counseling – Child (7+), Adolescent, Young Adult, and Adult; Play Therapy; and Christian Counseling for those who request it, to bring their faith into the healing process.
