Ever felt like a part of you is desperate to change while another is terrified to let go? This isn’t a sign of being broken; it is the hallmark of a complex, protective internal system. My approach honors this by utilizing IFS to engage these parts with compassion, unburdening the trauma they’ve carried to keep you safe. To support this deep work, I integrate DBT to build the distress tolerance and emotional regulation needed for a "secure base." Simultaneously, CPT helps identify and challenge stuck points, those distorted beliefs about safety and trust that trauma often leaves behind.

The idea of finding a therapist can be daunting, especially for those who are already feeling overwhelmed. I take a low pressure approach that allows for safety while we build trust. I have a passion for working with youth; most of my clients are aged 5-35 struggling with history of trauma, frequent anxiety, and difficulties with regulating emotions and/or behaviors. That being said, I’ve recently done some wonderful work with older adults as well. I am especially passionate about helping individuals who have had difficulty enjoying therapy previously, as I believe sessions should typically feel empowering rather than upsetting.

I believe that you are capable. You are able to fight for yourself and your family. Part of this fighting may include overcoming your own fears, doubts, or anxiety. Counseling is an excellent tool to have when life starts to get a little more overwhelming than usual.
I aim to support my clients as they pursue mental and emotional health. This includes taking inventory of their whole life and identifying areas that could benefit from a little attention. Feeling grounded and healthy is a feeling worth pursuing.

The people I work with tend to be deeply feeling, thoughtful, and insightful humans who are looking for more than surface level solutions. These people often think and feel even to the point of overwhelm—and want to understand themselves in a way that leads to real change. Together, we explore the patterns, beliefs, and emotional experiences that are keeping you stuck in anxiety, depression, disconnection, uncertainty, or just that frustrating sense of “meh. We will explore and discover ways to connect deeper to yourself and those you want to be in community with.

Are you stuck in your traditional talk therapy? Maybe you’ve tried many antidepressants and none seem to work. Or, trauma symptoms run your life. Your work, relationships and fun activities are all suffering. You’d like to find relief and yet you still feel trapped. Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) uses low-dose sublingual ketamine to help you heal from depression and PTSD/trauma as well as tap into your unconscious for meaningful transformation. It can help decrease depression and symptoms of trauma. And it can take you deep into your emotions and heart to find transformational healing.

You’ve survived things that were supposed to break you. Maybe you’ve been told to just pray harder, have more faith, or let it go — and somewhere along the way, you started wondering if you’re just too complicated to be helped.
You’re not.
I work with women, ministry leaders, and couples — and honestly, anyone carrying rejection, heartbreak, or spiritual wounds. If you want to integrate your faith into real healing but have been hurt by toxic theology along the way, you’re in the right place. You don’t have to choose between believing in God and getting actual help. Both belong in the room.
