Licensed in Mass & RI! As women, there are goals we want to reach, worries no one understands, pressure to be perfect, and a great many of these issues are not talked about. I feel strongly that women need to be heard and deserve support. There are ways to work through anxiety, depression, stress, and come out feeling the change. Another of the challenges in life are the difficulties that define our childhood. Everyone has them. If possible, the ideal scenario is to work on trauma as soon as possible; but remember that any time is the right time. You may not have caused the pain, but you are in control of healing.
I have worked with children/teens that struggle with big feelings; domestic violence victims; trauma reactive clients; clients with PTSD. Not allowing your past experiences to rule your current life is usually the goal. It is my privilege to stand next to you as you discover that your strength was there all along.
My biggest blessing is to have been a mother and now a grandmother. Second to this is being a woman and all the joy and challenges that come with the title. I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by strong women and their support made me who I am. Now I'm lucky enough to hopefully provide that support for other women and children who struggle.
