Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and you don't have to face life's challenges alone. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, substance use, or simply feeling stuck, I can help provide a safe place to heal, grow and rediscover hope. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 25 years of clinical experience, several of those years spent working with adolescents, families and adults in residential and community mental health settings. I have helped children, teens, adults, couples and families navigate complex emotional and behavioral challenges.
My extensive experience in working in a variety of settings has provided for me an opportunity of having specialized expertise in treating trauma, attachment disruptions, anxiety, depression, substance use, and co-occurring mental health disorders. My work is grounded in evidence based therapy including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and Attachment -Based Therapy.
I understand emotional pain shows up in many ways so rather then focusing solely on symptoms, I work collaboratively with clients to understand the underlying experiences contributing to their challenges while helping them build healthier coping skills, strengthen relationships, and create lasting change.
