For many years I struggled with shame and doubt about who I was, often feeling lost and hopeless. I would exercise my feelings through control or passivity in relations with others. It wasn't until I received help from a counselor that I started my journey of healing that lead to my discovery of an authentic self who could practice healthy relationships, acceptance, love, and feel worthy from the inside out. At that point I chose to become a Counselor so as to assist others in their journeys of self discovery.
The past 24 years working with clients in mental health I have experienced positive results using Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational, Brief, and Narrative therapy's treating depression, anxiety, grief, anger, co-dependency, relational issues and addictions.
I am looking forward to talking with you and exploring your needs and goals to see if we are a good fit for each other. I am working through telehealth at this time so you can feel safe not leaving your home. I also have an office for individual sessions. References on request.
