My practice spans working with individuals, couples and families, as well as teaching courses in Family Systems, Relationship Conflicts and Parenting. I am specialized in family and marital therapy, managing anxiety and depression, chemical dependency and addictions. I also provide supervision to clinicians to benefit their practice of psychotherapy.
Living in different cultures has brought a broad range of experience to my practice. Since receiving a Masters degree and a PhD from the University of Michigan, I have practiced family and marital therapy for 30+ years. Teaching in the Residential College and the Psychology Department, I specialized in family systems and group communication.
Because relationships are vital to everyone's life experience, I have cultivated a unique skill set to assist individuals to understand and successfully manage a broad range of relationship complexities. This includes strategizing with individuals, couples and families to recognize and remove relationship barriers, whether among loved ones, friends, family members, or in their workplace.
