“Colibri” is Latin for Hummingbird. Hummingbirds are thought to be healers and bringers of love, good luck, and joy. They have a remarkable amount of tenacity and endurance for such a small bird and are a reminder for us to live in the moment and enjoy life’s simple pleasures. Joy can be unpredictable and may be just around the corner. I believe that true happiness and peace comes from authenticity, self-acceptance and finding your true self and identity.
I specialize in eating disorders and grief and trauma. I often work with clients experiencing a range of symptoms such as anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, and self-esteem issues. I enjoy using acceptance and commitment therapy as my main treatment modality, but I also like to incorporate various modalities depending on what fits the client's needs.
I believe in the importance of a no judgement zone, and I accept all kinds of people, identities, and struggles.
