Hola, I'm Jamie. As a bilingual first-generation Latina, I want break the stigma that we are not alone in experiencing mental health and life stressors. I have found that my style and approach fit the needs of diverse children, teens and young adults who may be dealing with life transitions, and environmental factors. Clients I work with are 1st generation students/grads, professionals, individuals with relationship stress or babies, or managing mental health issues like anxiety, depression, grief or childhood trauma. I want therapy to be successful for you, but overall, I want you to feel like you matter and you are just human.

I have experience with children, teens and young adults through various settings, including public education K-12, juvenile justice, being the spouse of a military veteran, and non-profit organizations. I specialize in working with children ages 10 years and young adults (18-45). I want to help people using culturally and linguistically responsive treatment.

For me, it’s personal. I became a therapist because I have life experience with adverse childhood experiences and my struggles as a teen/young adult with mental health. I learned at a young age that we all heal in community and through connection. I hope that through my authentic and professional self, I can gain your trust so that you feel understood.
