In our sessions, we will work on understanding emotional responses, protective mechanisms, and inner system work. Together we will work to increase yourself-efficacy and compassion to deal with any stressful life situations that can and will occur. My clients will want to work on developing a stronger sense of self. Goals in therapy will be a collaborative process structured to help you along your introspective journey.

Some of my specialties include compassion-based cognitive-behavioral therapy. The counseling process is tailored to the individual client's needs, using experiential techniques. I foster a safe environment to learn new coping skills and more positive thought processes. People learn in different ways. I keep this in mind when exploring innovative techniques.
I started my career journey as a Kindergarten teacher, only to realize that it was the social and emotional aspects of my student's family life that I felt a draw toward. I am eager to incorporate the education and diversity perspective that I learned as a teacher into my counseling profession. I welcome anyone as a client, reach out to see if we are a fit.
