Depression, anxiety, stress and substance abuse as it relates to professional and personal functioning are all areas that are supported in my practice. As a professional social worker for over 20 years experience working within and throughout diverse communities, has been trained to conduct EMDR therapy, public speaking and curriculum development on topics including child welfare, child development and clinical practice.
As a Bay Area native that has lived in both Africa and Europe, I have a broad world view that sees life challenges as opportunities for growth. Having a multicultural family with African, Italian, Mexican and Creole cultures has allowed me to understand the importance of cultural practices and beliefs.
