I welcome people facing many kinds of challenges—anxiety, depression, loss, life transitions, illness, and trauma. I am trained in EMDR therapy with specialization in trauma and dissociative disorders. As an experienced therapist, I value the full range of human experience that each person brings. My practice is grounded in the belief that healing is self-directed, that everyone holds the capacity to heal within, and that my role is to offer facilitation, treatment options, and experienced guidance along the way.
I am certified and trained in EMDR therapy and specialize in working with trauma and dissociative disorders. Trauma can include any overwhelming experience that exceeds the nervous system’s capacity to process at the time it occurs. EMDR helps the brain reprocess these experiences so they can be integrated rather than remain frozen and fixed.
Sandplay therapy is a hands-on, depth-oriented process that complements therapy and EMDR therapy. In a contained space, there is sand, water, and miniature figures that invite you to express your inner experience. This creative process engages the psyche’s natural capacity for healing and supports integration and change from within.
