I am of the belief that self love lends to a happier and more fulfilling life. Unfortunately, self love is not something that is intrinsic in many people raised in society today. Much of the work I do is to assist clients to gain a deeper understanding of themselves so that they may discover the power, passion, and innate joy that lies within. Often times when we are unknowingly disconnected from our internal experience, we may find that we direct significant judgment inward, which lends to feelings of hopelessness, worthlessness, and shame. By opening our minds and expanding our view we can unlock the key to self love.
I specialize in working with folks who are curious about gender and what it means to them. Some folks may identify as transgender, others may not have a term for how they identify, and still, others may just want to explore more about their gender to gain deeper insight into themselves. I am happy to provide WPATH letters when appropriate.
I am a transgender man and an active transgender researcher. I have extensive knowledge in working with transgender clients and am the author of clinician competency standards for working with gender expansive clients. I also work with cisgender clients and would love to be a part of your journey no matter how you identify.
