I am casual and tattooed, and that tends to work for most people... even if it's vastly different from how people picture a typical 'therapist'. I feel very privileged to work with members of the LGBTQ+ community and believe I offer a unique perspective as a trans man (that also happens to be a therapist). I really enjoy providing support to folks while they explore components of their authentic identities. I am comfortable working with folks that identify with being poly and/or kinky (No shaming here!).
As a trans man, I really love working with people in my LGBTQ+ community, surrounding LGBTQ+ issues as well anxiety, depression, and life transitional periods. I appreciate being able to use a mix of modalities. I will also add that I may not be a great fit if delays or schedule changes is problematically activating, as they do happen due to my health.
Being an independent therapist allows me the freedom to work with clients in settings and styles that work best for them and their clinical needs. I care deeply about providing high quality and ethical therapeutic services to clients and their families. I currently have openings for both therapy and clinical supervision.
