Everyone feels anxiety. It is a normal human emotion, but sometimes anxiety becomes too big and no longer helpful. When anxiety feels burdensome, help and hope are available. I enjoy helping clients handle concerns with anxiety, such as generalized anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and a range of fears/phobias (needle, blood, heights, animals, etc.). I also have expertise working with clients who are experiencing depression, grief/loss, the unique challenges faced by the queer community, as well as distinct issues encountered by men in general.
I take a collaborative and integrative approach to therapy, tailoring tools to meet your needs. No one is immune to pain, and I believe everyone needs to learn how to manage the distress that inevitably shows up in our lives. By leaning into anxiety and distress, I help clients learn how to better manage and cope with anxiety and pain.
I understand that anxiety and pain can sometimes feel overwhelming, and coping with anxiety is hard work. I am here to support you on your journey to freedom from the crippling weight of anxiety. I recognize that everyone has busy schedules, so I offer appointments during non-standard times (evenings and Sundays). I look forward to working with you!
