At COHR we primarily work with individuals 12 years of age and older, couples and families. While we specialize in BIPOC mental health and wellness we believe everyone should have access to competent providers that can help them on their journey to healing and restoration. We provide high-quality, client-tailored counseling services and psychological evaluations to help individuals, children and families. At COHR Psychologist and Associations, LLC, it is always our mission to help our clients create opportunities for healing and restoration.
Dr Knighton's clinical interest areas are suicidality/grief/loss, human trafficking, sexual abuse, sexual abusive behaviors, forensic issues, substance use disorders, PTSD, relationship/family stress, childhood abuse and neglect, intergenerational trauma and healing, and other traumatic experiences (singular and chronic).
Dr. Knighton's clients have shared they enjoy being able to just “talk for an hour” while she “keeps it real” in sessions. She enjoys helping her clients achieve whatever they are seeking in a casual/comfortable therapy setting so they are safe to explore their thoughts, feelings, and vulnerabilities.
