It’s been my lifelong desire and a source of deep personal satisfaction to be able to assist people who are in distress find ways to resolve the life struggles and challenges they are having, and I have enjoyed helping others as we all deserve to be helped. From an early age I have known, and have come increasingly to understand, how key our understandings and attitudes, choices and behaviors are to our happiness and success, sense of well-being and happiness in all areas of life. If you want that, or just want to stop hurting and feeling bad and to have better relations with the people in your life, I am most happy to assist!

I have broad and varied professional training and a 60-year history of experience helping people of all ages and phases of development and of many backgrounds and nationalities, civilian and military, in various human services fields, adoptions, and as a mental health provider in clinics and psychiatric hospitals better manage a wide range of life problems.

Someone coming for therapy wants to be understood, cared about, respected and valued, not judged. I strive to make it a safe place where anything can be discussed, knowing how important, life-changing and sustaining this step can be and can make the difference between staying stuck or turning a corner toward a more productive, satisfying, and happier life.
