Whether you know exactly what you’d like to change, or you aren’t sure where to start, I know this is a big step and I’m ready to meet you where you’re at. I am certified in perinatal mental health and love working with women who are navigating pregnancy, the postpartum period, infertility, birth trauma, PMDD, or other women's wellness concerns. I also treat depression, anxiety, and trauma in people from all walks of life. My goal is to team up with you to help you make meaningful and lasting change, according to your own vision for your life.
In order to do so, I take an evidence-based approach to psychotherapy. I start with empirically supported treatments like CBT, ACT, and DBT, and work with you to best adapt them to your unique symptoms and goals. Together, we monitor progress and adjust, as needed, to make sure therapy is working for you.
My approach to therapy also includes humor, authenticity, and a sense of common humanity - I believe we are all trying our best with the struggles of life, and we can also grow our skills to manage them. I am pleased to be part of Peninsula Behavioral Health, a center focused on evidence based therapy.
