For over 40 years I have worked with families, couples, individual adults, and children to help them feel better about themselves and their lives. I have taught people skills at communicating which can help them take care of their needs and not interact in ways that can damage relationships or others' self esteem. Because counseling involves healing on all levels--the body, the emotions and the mind--I help people learn how to heal themselves, and in turn help others to heal. My approach is holistic and client-centered where I integrate therapeutic modalities according to the person's needs.
The areas of difficulty that I work with are broad and include individual concerns as well as relationship problems of any kind, such as marital or parent/child conflict. The issues may be from the past, such as with your family of origin, or they may include current concerns.
