I enjoy working collaboratively with clients to help work on improving many areas of life. My experience has included work with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I generally use a Cognitive Behavioral approach, but use other treatment modalities as appropriate for each person. I am also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy that is designed to help ages 6-18 who have experienced traumatic and upsetting life events.
My areas of special focus include helping those struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, Attention-Deficit, and other issues related to phase of life, adjustment, relational, academic, and other life stressors.
I am bilingual and can also provide services in Spanish. I have a passion assisting families who are adjusting to life transitions and acculturation into life in the United States as this can be a trying and difficult time for children and families.
