In serving clients who may be part of the Autistic, ADHD, LGBTQ+, and/or military communities, I've seen first hand that the diversity of human experience leads to ingenuity. I work to provide an accepting, supportive, and creative space for clients to communicate their story and discover their own path forward. Together, we can explore the narrative that defines the personal, professional, and social aspects of your life, navigating intersections between lived experiences and identities. I help you to see your patterns of success and both recognize and utilize the expertise you already hold within yourself.
I provide counseling that is accessible and neurodiversity affirming. We can use different methods of communication during sessions (such as writing or AAC) and include important sociocultural and personal narratives that are most important to you. I mostly serve Autistic and ADHD clients, working to assess strengths and address challenges they identify.
It can be hard to seek support when concerned about stigma. As someone raised in a military family, who is part of the LGBTQ+ community with lived experience of disability, neurodivergence, and "geek culture," I respect who you are in all of your complexity. I consider it a privilege to get to know and serve each person through their interests and passions.
