Jessamyn has previously worked in a variety of settings, including community-based work with court-involved youth, inpatient psychiatry with adults, and outpatient settings for children, families, and adults of varying diagnoses and presenting issues. Jessamyn enjoys working with people of all ages and needs, but particularly specializes in working with teens and young adults dealing with anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, body image and self-esteem issues as well as grief, life transitions, perfectionism, burnout, and family conflict.
Jessamyn Henschel is a compassionate and person-centered therapist who believes that you, the client, are the expert of yourself and your inner world. She is here to support and guide you toward living your best life by utilizing psychodynamic, mindfulness, creative arts, somatic, trauma-informed, CBT, and DBT techniques, in a humanistic manner.
