Though I also use a mixture of other evidenced-based models such as solution-focused therapy and CBT.
I believe that every human is shaped by an interplay of factors that come from within and without the person. That is to say that the power of therapy comes from a deeper understanding of the forces inside and out that shape a person into a unique individual. I also find that the center of psychotherapy is the relationship--the relationship with those in one’s life, the relationship with the therapist, and the relationship with oneself. Whether you are seeking therapy to find a deeper purpose in your life, or you are experiencing life’s challenges in the form of pain, anxiety, depression, loss, or conflict, I am here to help.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) Therapists
Cognitive-behavioral therapy stresses the role of thinking in how we feel and what we do. It is based on the belief that thoughts, rather than people or events, cause our negative feelings. The therapist assists the client in identifying, testing the reality of, and correcting dysfunctional beliefs underlying his or her thinking. The therapist then helps the client modify those thoughts and the behaviors that flow from them. CBT is a structured collaboration between therapist and client and often calls for homework assignments.

If you're looking for CBT therapy in Raleigh or for a Raleigh CBT therapist these professionals provide cognitive behavioral therapy, cbt group therapy, cbt therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, cognitive therapy and behavioral therapy. They include CBT therapists, CBT psychologists, CBT psychotherapists and CBT counselors.
