Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, or issues from the past the you just can't seem to let go of? Exploring your thoughts and feelings in the context of a supportive, nonjudgmental relationship with an experienced therapist is often helpful. I have many years experience helping people of all ages work through their hurt and pain. I utilize an empathic approach that stems from my training in pyschodynamic therapy and familly systems theory.
I am very comfortable working with people who are depressed, anxious, have a history of sexual abuse, or who have used self harm as a way to deal with their pain. I also enjoy helping people understand and improve their relationships with their partners and children.
Since every person and situation is unique, I believe in tailoring therapy to meet the needs of the person who is seeking help. I believe that a comfortable, trusting relationship between the therapist and client is of utmost importance.
