As an experienced clinician, I find myself most compatible with individuals who seek to make positive changes in their lives. I support my clients in their efforts to confront their challenges and overcome emotional barriers. I work best with adults who feel burdened with anxiety, depression, PTSD, or relationship issues. I welcome individual clients and couples, who seek to address the conflicts in their relationships. I value the capacity to laugh and learn, and I encourage my clients to embrace these as recovery tools. Additionally, my clients must love, or at least like basset hounds, as they are my receptionists.
I have been a licensed mental health therapist for more than 30 years. I work with adults and couples, including those with intellectual and physical disabilities. My office is handicapped accessible. I am fluent in ASL and can provide competent care for the Deaf and hard of hearing.
My practice offers accessibility to those with physical disabilities. I have extensive experience with individuals living with emotional, developmental, and physical challenges. I fully appreciate the struggles of physically challenged clients, as I live with limitations in mobility.
