During difficult times, therapy can be an empowering and even transformative experience that results in enriched relationships as well as greater overall well-being. Deeply committed to the values of human dignity and equality, I provide affirmative therapy to people of all ethnicities, spiritualities and sexual orientations. I have a passion for helping children, adolescents and adults recover from trauma, grief, pet loss and obsessive-compulsive disorder, and have specialized training in working with military veterans. I am a certified cognitive behavioral therapist through the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, but incorporate other modalities of healing into my approach. I believe in respecting the singular needs, gifts and values of each client and look forward to establishing a creative and collaborative therapeutic alliance with you.
A member of the Ecopsychology Network for Clinicians and The Association of Nature & Forest Therapy, I believe integrating mindful connection with landscape into the therapeutic process can be deeply nourishing and nurturing.
