Reaching out for help takes courage and strength. My approach to therapy is to work collaboratively in order to effectively use that courage and strength to produce effective growth and change. I specialize in working with individuals of all ages who are experiencing substance use and co-occurring disorders such as anxiety and depression. I have a passion for working with couple who are experiencing communication struggles within their relationship. I have extensive experience in working with individuals who experience substance use, anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-worth, low self-esteem.
Over the past decade, I have worked in different levels of care for addiction and mental health treatment. I utilize modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to facilitate growth and empowerment.
Each individual is capable of growth and deserves a safe and nonjudgmental space to process thoughts and emotions, experience feelings, and live in their truth. I am committed to helping my clients gain awareness and create sustainable change to live in the version of their lives that they desire.
