Most of my work involves working with depression, anxiety, trauma, losses, and life adaptations with early and late adolescents, adults, and couples. I have a strong experience working cross-culturally and including the family in the therapy if necessary. My approach is Existential-Humanistic with a strong Psychodynamic base. I may use cognitive therapy, and techniques such as EMDR, Play, Art, or IFS when necessary.
I am dedicated to assisting individuals in attaining a balance among the emotional, intellectual, and physical dimensions of their lives. The treatment focuses on carefully managing the identification and resolution of issues, while also highlighting and building upon existing strengths.
I am multilingual and multicultural (English-French-Spanish-Portuguese), and feel comfortable to both assess and treat in any of these languages. Because of the languages I speak and the understanding of other cultures, I sometimes sign agreements with other insurances. However, I do not work with Medicare and Medicaid.
