Looking to reduce or avoid medication? Want a sustainable alternative to conventional talk therapy? You recognize that mental health is not all in your head, but you wonder what else you can do. Whether you suffer from depression, anxiety, bipolar, or ADHD, my approach is not one you'll find with other therapists. I believe mental, spiritual, and physical health are one. They should not be treated like separate parts in a car. Aside from trauma, there is a physiological cause of mental illness. But medication only covers up symptoms; it doesn't help you heal in the long-run.
We have a vague idea that eating healthy food is good for us. But when I share that I'm also a nutritionist, people assume that I treat eating disorders. I don't treat eating disorders. Instead, I use food as medicine, supporting all mental health with a bioindividual, clinical approach. It's more than just eating salads!
Unfortunately, most of us are misinformed as to what a healthy diet actually is (I was, too). I'm passionate about studying health science from unbiased perspectives. I also enjoy exploring concepts like homesteading, homeschooling, and anything else that is wholesome and meaningful. I also do EMDR, EFT, and mindfulness-based therapy for those who want it.

I mainly work with chronic/organic mental conditions rather than acute trauma, but I will do some trauma work (EMDR or EFT) if needed. My sessions are typically focused on how to make small improvements toward epigenetic resilience and brain metabolism (involving diet & lifestyle), so ideal clients would be motivated to make small changes outside of therapy.

I specialize in therapeutic nutritional protocols for brain and gut health, but that is not a requirement to see me. In the first session, I try to get to know you to understand how to help. Therapy takes time! Please give it at least five sessions before deciding if it is working for you, and then we can discuss what needs to be adjusted.
