You don't have to continue carrying this alone. If you're here, chances are you are exhausted from holding it alone. Maybe anxiety lives in your body no matter how much insight you have. Maybe grief has changed you in ways no one seems to understand. Or maybe your past still shows up, quietly or loudly, in your relationships, nervous system or sense of self. I specialize in helping adults and young adults heal developmental and relational trauma, anxiety and grief wounds using deeply trauma informed, body based approaches that go beyond talk therapy.
I work from the belief that nothing about you is broken. Your symptoms are intelligent responses to what you have lived through. You have adapted and survived, but what once helped can often lead to hurting. Using a mix of IFS, Somatic work and EMDR we work with both the mind and the nervous system, so change isn't just intellectual, it's felt.
Many of my clients are caregivers, helpers, professionals, moms, do-it-all types that have often put everyone's needs above their own. Many are deeply sensitive, thoughtful people that have learned early on to put others first out of survival, but now they are ready to come home to themselves. I hope to meet you soon.
