I use a combination of therapeutic interventions to help with the diverse challenges that adolescents and adults experience. My approach is warm, relational, and client-centered. I draw upon research and evidence based approaches, while also looking deeper at a narrative that may be causing distress. We will create goals for mental health treatment that best support your individual needs and the conflicts you or your teenager are facing. Together we learn what helps you feel better.
I was a Licensed School Counselor, kindergarten through twelfth grade, working in schools for 18 years. I also have worked in a variety of mental health fields, including, but not limited to, sub-acute residential counselor with dual diagnosed young adults, therapeutic foster care, sexual assault crisis team member, art therapy serving diverse populations.
