I am a licensed clinical social worker who provides therapy to adults. I work with creative and thoughtful people looking to gain insight into their own behaviors and challenges, including persons struggling with stress, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, worry, intrusive or unwelcome thoughts, folks working on alcohol and drug abuse recovery, persons addressing identity development, adults who have difficult or absent relationships with their parents now or in childhood, and persons with psychotic disorders who are looking for supportive therapy in addition to their ongoing medication management provided by their psychiatrist.
I have additional experience in hospital based inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, where I routinely worked with persons with severe mental health and chemical dependency issues and hold a certificate from the two year program of Post Graduate Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program from The Dallas Psychoanalytic Center.
