I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, new to East Coast Mental Wellness. I received my Masters in Holistic Counseling from Salve Regina University. I have 11 years of providing counseling to individuals, families, and couples. I provide Mindfulness and meditation to assist with being present and meeting you wherever you are in the moment. I possess strong Cognitive Behavior Therapy skills in areas of anxiety, depression, trauma, and other life changing events, through my years of service. Many times those answers or truths are not clearly visible to the person due to factors such as unhealthy/familiar patterns, addictions/compulsions, mood/anxiety disorders just to name a few. It is therefore my job as the therapist to help clients not only overcome these factors to discover their truths but also to put these new patterns and truths into action. Once achieved the client can access a more balanced and satisfying life.

For over twenty-five years, I have been practicing in the field of psychotherapy. During this time, I have specialized in the treatment of both adults and children living with ADHD. I have also worked with many individuals and families dealing with depression, anxiety, and difficulty adjusting with changes, such as divorce and/or problems derived from relationships.

I teach you and your partner to communicate, so that you learn to "listen" and "talk" so that the other can "listen." Imago therapy gives you a structure so you can use it at home. We are successful when we feel safe and we can go forward in a happy positive way. Otherwise the meaning of your relationship and everything built on it, is trivialize and taken for granted and undermines success in all other areas of your life.
