I am the Assistant Clinical Director for the Anchor Counseling Center Inc. office in East Greenwich, RI. I am currently seeing clients of all ages focusing on an array of different mental health issues including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral issues and relationship problems. I am a licensed mental health counselor who received a Master's degree and a Certificate in advanced graduate studies in mental health counseling from Rhode Island College. I have over 7 years' of experience working with children, adolescents and families in the both in-home and residential treatment settings.
I am passionate about helping clients overcome whatever challenges they may be facing in life. I believe that effective psychotherapy begins by developing a positive therapeutic relationship. I generally utilize cognitive behavioral therapy but will integrate aspects of alternative treatment modalities in order to meet a client's specific needs.
I employ a collaborative approach to psychotherapy in which clients are supported to establish goals and identify and utilize their personal strengths. At Anchor Counseling Center, we work diligently to provide a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for all our clients and their families.
