Everyone needs a little help to think about their situation, and a listening ear inviting them to express what they have not yet been able to articulate. You are not alone in feeling at times overwhelmed, sad, or anxious. My goal is to help you work through whatever difficulties you are having in a safe and supportive atmosphere. I believe that therapy is for everybody whether you are looking to grow or explore, improve your relationships with loved ones, or whether you are trying to overcome a crisis or a mental health issue that prevents you from enjoying life fully.
I have 15 years of experience working with adults and couples. I help patients better understand themselves, which leads to their increased ability to make wiser and better informed decisions. I trained at Concordia University, and worked at the MJG Hospital, McGill University Counseling Center , and White Institute for Psychoanalysis.
Part of my training is to focus on my relationship with my patients as a way to better understand their relationships with others. I specialize in the treatment of trauma and abuse, as well as women's issues, issues of identity, and emotional difficulties such as depression and anxiety.
